In 2023, Life Remodeled purchased the former Dominican High School (most recently Winans Academy of Performing Arts) to renovate and repurpose into its next Opportunity Hub. The name, Anchor Detroit, was determined after a community vote, and construction began during the summer of 2024. Anchor Detroit is slated to open in summer of 2025 and is projected to serve 18,000 Detroiters annually through afterschool programs, workforce development, health & wellness, tech, arts & culture.
Life Remodeled completed its 2024 Six Day Project in the eastside community surrounding Anchor Detroit and will continue the project in 2025.
