Life Remodeled Students Connect at Detroit Lions Community Partner Day
On Tuesday, August 11th, the Life Remodeled Youth Alliance and Future Firsts came together to attend the Detroit Lions Training Camp Community Partner Day. The students had the opportunity to watch the Detroit Lions practice from the stands, enjoy Lions-themed face painting, and receive fun giveaways, including hats, wristbands, and more. They also enjoyed food from local food truck vendors and took part in the many activities throughout the day.
Beyond the fun and excitement, the event also provided a great opportunity for students from different Life Remodeled programs to connect with one another. Students introduced themselves, shared a little about who they are, and talked about the work they do through their respective programs at Life Remodeled. It was a great day of community, connection, and fun while giving our students the chance to experience a special Detroit Lions event together.
That’s kind of all I have for the explanation of the day. It’s pretty straightforward – but here’s more info about the day:
Lions Community Partner Day is an exclusive training camp day centered on celebrating the community the Lions look to impact each and every day and those groups who make it possible. The Lions will host 3,000 guests of community partners who focus on the development of youth education throughout Michigan. Guests will include members of the Detroit Lions Cub Club, Detroit Lions Foundation, and Detroit Lions Inspire Change Partners.
