Osborn Floors Opponents
Dear Team Life Remodeled,
Born and raised in Indiana, there is no sport I enjoy more than basketball. However, my Hoosier days are long gone and I root for Michigan teams (Go Blue!).
While I’m a big fan of March Madness, I think high school basketball is where it’s really at… and that’s why I’m proud to announce last week Osborn won the “sweet sixteen” of boys high school basketball, and they play in the “elite eight” tomorrow night! As partners and donors to our 2015 project in Osborn, you literally put the home floor under these kids’ feet.
Immediately following the game, I called Coach Lonell Williams to congratulate him on their win. I could hear the tremendous joy in his voice when he said, “Man, Chris… you know we couldn’t have done it without the facilities.”
Coach Williams emphasized the role Osborn’s new gym and weight room played in motivating the players, and even impressing parents to keep their boys enrolled at Osborn.
Life Remodeled thanks KPMG, the Lorraine and Leroy Campbell Foundation, and donors like YOU who helped make this happen two years ago.
And here’s more good news: Neither Osborn nor any of the other Detroit schools on the State School Reform/Redesign Office list will be closed. And that’s a win for Detroit youth and their neighborhoods!
Grateful YOUR Donations are Making a Real Difference,
Chris Lambert |CEO|
