Three traditions will soon be upon us: Thanksgiving. Black Friday. Giving Tuesday.

Thanksgiving – A time to pause, connect with others, and celebrate the often overlooked goodness of God, which far outweighs the craziness of this world.

Black Friday – A triumphant festival for retailers who have convinced the masses to begin early to purchase many things for people who do not need them.

Giving Tuesday – A much-needed countermeasure following a nationwide shopping binge, and a wonderful opportunity to remind ourselves “it is more blessed to give than to receive” as we enter the Christmas shopping season.
