World Impact

Dear Team Life Remodeled,

Last week I had the opportunity to spend seven days in northern England sharing about the work of Life Remodeled and learning best practices in global housing solutions for vulnerable people.

The Building and Social Housing Foundation (BSHF) is an international foundation that organizes biannual peer exchange opportunities for approximately 15 exemplary organizations. The foundation searches globally all year for remarkable stories, and Life Remodeled was discovered.

During the exchange, we spent time interacting and exploring new strategies while touring an award-winning nonprofit in its home context. The experience sparked numerous ideas, and the wheels of my mind are turning with new perspective.

Life Remodeled is successful because we strategically partner with a wide variety of local organizations who are motived to invest time, talent and resources into Detroit neighborhoods. As we look to the future, we will continue to search for innovative partnerships that will improve housing in Detroit, and create valuable opportunities for children and adults in need.
